Hi, I’m Racquel Whyte! I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica and currently reside in New York. I wear many different hats, but you may know me as (@cookingwithracquel) on Instagram and now the owner of Racquel‘s Spices (@racquelspices).

Racquel’s Spices was created as a result of my love and passion for cooking. This passion is innate as I have been cooking since I was an adolescent but have always been in the kitchen with my mom from a young age. I therefore quickly learned what was important to effectively combine herbs and spices to create magic in the kitchen which led me to start experimenting. For years I have been mixing and remixing different Jamaican herbs and spices to create fun and new flavors which I have been using with my friends and family much to their pleasure.
